Shop worker dislocates elbow after being tripped deliberately by customer

A female member of staff at a city centre shop suffered a dislocated elbow after a customer deliberately tripped her.

The woman was working at a store in Granby Street in Leicester on Saturday, August 8, when she was assaulted.

Because of the fall, she had to have several weeks off work while she recovered.

Leicestershire Police have released this video of a man in the store who they want to speak to about what happened.

Police said in a statement: “It happened at a shop in Granby Street, in Leicester city centre, on Saturday, August 8.

“The member of staff, a woman, fell and suffered a dislocated
