A man is recovering in hospital after he was injured in a collision with a car last night.
The man, a pedestrian, was injured when he was in collision with the vehicle on Beveridge Lane, Bardon Hill, near Coalville, just before 6.40pm.
The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham by East Midlands Ambulance Service.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police closed off Beveridge Lane until 10.35pm to allow a detailed examination of the scene.
