Readers have reacted after news that Nottingham and Nottinghamshire is to be placed under Tier 2 Covid restrictions - with some saying they would like to see even tighter measures in force.
The city and county will be placed under Tier 2 - the High Risk category, the Prime Minister has confirmed this afternoon (Monday, October 12).
"As a result of rising infection rates, Nottinghamshire, East and West Cheshire and a small area of High Peak will also move into the “high” alert level.," he told the House of Commons.
It means people will not be allowed to mix in each others’ households, but hospitality businesses are expected to avoid forced closures.
