A plan by a historic family business to transform its Birmingham headquarters to safeguard its long-term future has been voted through.
Charles Green & Son, which has been run by the same family for six generations, has secured the go-ahead to add five commercial units and 37 apartments to its base in Tenby Street.
The jewellery maker has been located at the factory for the last 50 years but has hired Rainier Developments and architects BDP to help make the site more suitable for its needs.
Charles Green & Son has been established for more than 200 years.
