More than 60 schools and education settings across Nottinghamshire have now confirmed coronavirus cases since September.
Bingham's Toot Hill School became the latest to confirm a single positive case on Monday morning (October 12).
In a statement, the Nova Education Trust school said the student would be self-isolating as well as other members of the year group bubble who had been identified as having 'close contact'.
The school remains open for other students.
A spokesman for the school said: "Toot Hill School in Bingham has recorded a single positive case of COVID-19 over the weekend.
