A Nottinghamshire village pub has shut its doors temporarily after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.

Owners at the Victoria Tavern in Ruddington posted a notice to the pub's Facebook page informing people about their decision to 'deep clean' the venue.

The post read: "In the interests of transparency we wanted to make you aware that today (Sunday 11th October) a member of our staff tested positive for Covid-19.

"The staff member has not been at work since Friday. Only one member of staff is affected and at this point there is nothing to indicate they picked up the virus here.

"We are awaiting NHS Track And Trace Service who will instruct us as
