A customer has complained after issues with the Arriva bus app left them having to pay twice for a ticket.
The bus passenger, who is from Stonegate but wished to not be named, bought a four-week season ticket using the Arriva app on September 22 for £54.
However, on October 7 the app displayed that the ticket was now invalid because it had expired.
The customer did not understand what had happened because the ticket should have been valid still for another two weeks.
She tried to contact Arriva but only got through to an automated stating that there was an issue with the app.
