Derby residents told to stay away from Nottingham households

Residents in Derby have been warned not to mix with households in level two or three areas under the Government's new three-tier lockdown system

Neighbouring Nottingham has been placed under stricter tier two restrictions, as have parts of northern Derbyshire.

This means that you are not allowed to socialise indoors with anybody who is not part of your household or support bubble. Two households may meet in a private garden as long as the rule of six and social distancing is followed.

Under the strictest restrictions, tier three, no mixing between households is allowed inside or outside and pubs, gyms and some other businesses are required to close. The Liverpool City region is the only
