Shoppers tell of moment woman 'shouted for help' as she was hit by lorry

Shoppers have have described the horrifying moment a woman was hit by a lorry in a Co-op car park.

The incident happened in Farnborough Road, Clifton, shortly before 9.30am on Tuesday, October 13, in the supermarket's car park.

A woman in her 70s was taken to hospital with serious injuries, Nottinghamshire Police says.

Julie Bramford, who has lived in Farnborough Road, Clifton for the most part of her life, said: "I was at work and a lady at work said a woman had been hit by a lorry.

"I heard they could not get her from underneath. It was not nice to hear.
