Cafe and pub owners across Nottinghamshire breathed a sigh of relief that the government didn't close them down as part of the new local lockdown restrictions - but the latest ruling still leaves them with a major dilemma.
As well as imposing the 10pm curfew, the rules have now been changed again, banning different households meeting up inside bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants across the county.
The latest measure, which comes into effect on Wednesday 14 October, follows the government announcement that the county has been placed into the new 'high alert' category to curb rising Covid-19 infection rates.
Under the new rules, the whole of Nottinghamshire ranks as Tier 2 of a three-tier system
