Fear and frustration as town placed under new restrictions

People in Retford are 'fearful and frustrated' after tighter restrictions were announced for the county earlier this week.

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire has been placed in the high alert category, which means residents across the county are facing a new wave of restrictions to their daily lives from this morning (October 14).

Mixing between households is now banned indoors and in pubs, bars, restaurants, social clubs, casinos and other leisure facilities.

Residents can meet people from other households in an outdoor setting, such as a garden or open, public spaces, in groups of no more than six and while adhering to social distancing.
