Conversations about how people can get around coronavirus rules drive Leicestershire’s director of public health ‘nuts’, he admitted today.
Mike Sandys told LeicestershireLive he wished people would instead recognise that rates are rising in the county and talk about ways we can drive cases down and stop the spread.
“The current debate, which drives me nuts, is ways around the rules, rather than realising that Leicestershire’s rates are four times higher than they were this time last month and we have a bit of a problem here, and thinking let’s do something about it,” he said.
