Intu has offloaded a third Midlands shopping centre to a new operator in the space of two months.

Property management company MAPP has taken on The Potteries Centre in Stoke-on-Trent city centre from intu which entered administration in June.

Specialist investment manager APAM will assume asset management responsibilities.

The centre will continue to operate under intu branding ahead of a revamp later this year and will retain the historic Potteries name.

The rebrand will include a new logo, external signage and website.

The move comes after intu offloaded its sites in Merry Hill and Derby in September.
