A mum from Burbage has come up with a fun, safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating in light of the coronavirus outbreak.
Anya Pendlebury was looking for a way to celebrate Halloween despite the current Covid restrictions and came across the idea of doing a Spot a Pumpkin event, with people displaying pumpkins in their windows for youngsters to go round and find.
Parents can give their children sweets for each pumpkin they spot, with no need to knock on any doors or for bags of sweets to be shared around.
