Chocolate fans have been eagerly opening up their tubs of Quality Street only to find one of the flavoured sweets is missing in action.
The makers of the traditional Christmas favourite have now admitted that Covid is to blame, reports the Mirror.
The missing sweet was the hotly-anticipated new Chocolate Caramel Brownie flavour with quite a few customers eager to sample it surprised to find none in their tubs.
Nestle has promised production is back to normal now.
The company told fans complaining about the missing sweets that changes to its production lines earlier in lockdown meant some tubs being opened now were still a flavour short of the full range.
