Residents object to plans to sell alcohol at student cafe on Jubilee campus

Residents living near the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus fear plans for a student cafe to serve alcohol will lead to disturbance.

The university has applied to Nottingham City Council for a license at the existing Cafe Terrazzo to allow the sale of alcohol until midnight seven days a week.

The application for the cafe, located within the Exchange Building, also mentions live and recorded music and films.

Residents living nearby have raised objections to the proposals, saying there's already enough noise to contend with.
