Police have released images of nine people they want to speak with following a serious collision that left a 71-year-old man with 'life-altering' injuries.

Two men remain in a serious condition in hospital following the collision, which took place at around 4.30pm on Sunday (October 11) in Southchurch Drive, Clifton.

The incident happened when a number of motorbikes travelled past a stationary tram on the road, overtaking it on both sides before colliding with the 71-year-old as he crossed the road.

A motorcyclist then crashed into a bollard.

The pedestrian remains at Queen's Medical Centre after fracturing his skull and his injuries have been described as life-altering.

The rider, aged 23, has also had surgery
