Fall in number of new Covid-19 tests recorded across all parts of Nottinghamshire

The number of new Covid-19 cases recorded in Nottingham in 24 hours has fallen considerably since yesterday (October 15), daily data has shown.

Figures released by Public Health England on Friday (October 16) show that 109 new Covid-19 cases were registered in the city today.

For contrast, 555 new cases were recorded on Thursday.

It takes the total number of cases recorded across the city since the pandemic began to 7,785.

Elsewhere in Nottinghamshire double-figure rises have been recorded in each borough and district of the county.

However, there has again been a considerable drop in the amount of new cases.
