First homes in Hinckley retirement complex go on sale

The first 16 properties have gone on sale in a retirement complex being built near Hinckley town centre.

The one and two-bedroom bungalows are part of McCarthy and Stone’s Elizabeth Coxhead Gardens development, on the former National Grid site off Coventry Road, with first completions expected by April 2021.

Each individual freehold property will have its own private garden and a driveway and selected bungalows will also have a garage.

The 1.2 hectare scheme as a whole will include 73 homes, with 34 shared ownership properties, while 23 will be affordable homes, along with the 16 homes that have gone on
