Nottinghamshire man denies murder following stabbing in Birmingham

A Nottinghamshire man has pleaded not guilty to murder following a fatal stabbing in Birmingham.

Appearing in the dock at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday, October 16, the charge was read out to Ryan Hurt, 22, of Peel Crescent, Mansfield, by a court clerk.

He is charged with the murder of Thomas Rogers..

Mr Rogers, 26, was discovered seriously injured near the junction of Bristol Road and Mill Pool Way, Bournbrook, on Saturday, August 22.

He was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.

After Ryan Hurt entered his not guilty plea, his case was adjourned with other defendants to December 7.
