Liverpool has been placed into the most severe local lockdown - but how does it compare to Nottingham, and how close is our city to Tier 3restrictions?

The tightest rules which apply to the city region of Liverpool mean households cannot mix indoors - and pubs have to close unless they can operate as restaurants.

The Liverpool region includes the city, Knowsley, Wirral, Sefton, St Helen's and Halton.

People in Tier 3 areas are not allowed to socialise with anybody they do not live with or have formed a support bubble with, in any indoor setting or in any private garden or at most outdoor hospitality venues and ticketed events

Pubs and bars must close;
