Residents urged to protect community during first weekend of restrictions
Residents across Nottinghamshire are being urged to follow Government guidance on the first weekend under Tier 2 restrictions. This follows a sharp rise in cases and hospital admissions this week.
Across the county, COVID-related hospital admissions are now at 148, which is more than double what it was 7 days ago on 9th October (73). There has also been a concerning increase in the number of cases amongst older residents which indicates growing community transmission across age groups.
