A Nottinghamshire woman is urging people not to ignore cancer symptoms after she found a lump in her breast.

NHS worker Karen Lloyd, who heads up the engagement team at Joined Up Care Derbyshire, said the global pandemic did not stop her from getting advice from her doctor.

The 50-year-old who lives in Worksop, said: “I know all about the infection rates, but when I found a lump in my breast it never stopped me from thinking I need to get in touch with my GP.
