Five men have been arrested following a series of incidents including police vehicles being rammed into by a car.

Nottinghamshire Police responded to an initial report of threatening behaviour in Ascot Road, Radford, at around 11pm on Friday (October 16).

Response officers arrived at the scene and supported the victim of the initial incident.

However, officers then realised a group of men had recently fled the scene and an investigation was launched to find them.

Around half an hour after the initial call was made, police spotted a black Honda Civic car in Nuthall Road which had been linked to the incident.
