As Nottinghamshire faces its first weekend under new Tier 2 restrictions, public health bosses have said the area is at a "critical level".
Cases are increasing across all city areas as well as across the county, figures from the latest surveillance reports show.
Director of Public Health for Nottingham, Alison Challenger said in a briefing on Friday, October 16, the city had recorded 3,237 cases in the past seven days, bringing the rate to 972 per 100,000. This had fallen to 884.7 by Friday evening.
