Full year group told to stay home after positive Covid-19 case

A full year group at a Derbyshire school is being told to stay at home tomorrow after a positive case of Covid-19 was confirmed.

Staff at The Ecclesbourne School in Duffield have issued a letter to parents in which they say they are working with Public Health England and the Department for Education about the situation.

The letter says all students in Year 7 should remain at home, as well pupils who travelled on the 335 bus to school last week.

But the school says the site will remain open to all other year groups and that students should continue to attend if they remain well.
