Police have charged a man with multiple driving offences after a series of incidents which included numerous police cars being damaged.

The first incident involved a call to police about threatening behaviour in Ascot Road, Radford, at about 11pm on Friday (October 16).

It was reported a group of men had fled the scene upon the arrival of officers.

However, a black Honda Civic car was tracked down by Nottinghamshire Police around half-an-hour later in Bulwell, with the vehicle failing to stop for officers.

The incident was brought 'to a safe conclusion' by officers after it had rammed police vehicles, and five men were arrested.

Kane Williams, 21, of no fixed address, has been charged
