A long-derelict shop in Mansfield town centre could be set for a new lease of life after plans were lodged to bring it back into use.
The former 'Motormania' store, located in Market Place, has remained disused for a number of years and is described by residents as an "eyesore".
However, under new plans submitted to Mansfield District Council, the high street site could be brought back to life in the form of a betting shop.
The plans, with documents from firm Planning Potential, state developers see a potential betting store as an "opportunity" to bring the site back to "productive use".
