More than 20 neighbourhoods in Derby have been ranked as among the most deprived in England, new data has revealed.
Fresh statistics from the Government have also revealed there is a geographical divide in Derby, with more deprived areas in the south compared to the north.
The House of Commons Library has released a map in which it details where the most deprived areas in England are.
It showed that the most deprived areas of this city are in Derby South, which has 20 highly-deprived Lower Super Output Areas (LSOAs)
LSOAs are a way of defining small areas within constituencies across the country making it easier to report hyper-localised statistics from those areas.
