Former Premier League forward Dean Ashton has said that Chris Hughton’s impact at Nottingham Forest has already been seen at the club.
The new Reds’ head coach took charge of his first game on Saturday, with Forest coming out as 1-0 winners against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
The Three points were Forest’s first of the season after a poor run of form that led to the sacking of Sabri Lamouchi and the subsequent appointment of Hughton.
The head coach has previously been successful in the Championship, leading both Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion to promotion from the division.
