The number of positive coronavirus continues to rise to a worrying level across the county, city and the UK as a whole.
However, that is not the story everywhere, as there are some places that are 'Covid cold spots' - the areas that have recorded smaller numbers of cases than in the surrounding areas.
It is unclear why exactly some areas are fairing so much better than others, but they are.
The Government releases the latest recorded Covid cases daily, as well as the weekly rolling rate.
As of Friday November 20, Leicester has a seven-day infection rate of 509.3 per 100,000 people and the county has an average of 389.2 per 100,000.
