A further eight people have died after testing positive for Covid-19 across Derbyshire, according to NHS England data released today.
In the past 24 hours, another 335 cases of coronavirus have been recorded.
Across the UK, the death toll now stands at 55,024 and 1,512,045 people have tested positive for Covid-19.
This represents an increase of 398 and 18,662 respectively over the same time period.
In Derby, there have been 87 new cases recorded - bringing the total to 7,256.
There have also been increases of 45 in Bolsover, 42 in South Derbyshire and 39 in Erewash.
