Details on which tier Nottinghamshire will be in after December 2 expected this week

With just over a week until the end of the second national lockdown, attention is now turning to which tier each county will be placed into after December 2.

For Nottinghamshire, the picture here is very different to what it was over a month ago, with rates of Covid infections rapidly declining in much of the ccounty.

Parts of the county now have a lower rate than they did when Tier 2 restrictions were imposed and came into force on October 14.

For example, Nottingham's rate then was 834.2 cases per 100,000 people and it is now 251.1.

Broxtowe's rate was also higher then too at 272.7. It is
