Derby County are on the lookout for a new manager after the departure of Phillip Cocu during the international break.

The former Rams boss left the club by mutual consent, with a management team of Wayne Rooney, Liam Rosenior, Shay Given and Justin Walker taking up the reins on an interim basis.

A new manager is not expected to be announced until the takeover by Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan is completed, but that hasn’t stopped speculation over who may take the position.

One of the names said to be on the list is Swansea City manager Steve Cooper.
