Clap for Carers returns - but it doesn't receive a warm welcome

People across Lincolnshire have shared their opinions on the return of "Clap for Carers".

The event, where people would clap on their doorsteps each Thursday evening, began last year during the first national lockdown.

In the wake of a third lockdown, the notion has now returned, renamed from Clap for Carers, to Clap for Heroes.

It's aim is to show gratitude to all health care and key workers for their hard work throughout the pandemic.

But the response hasn't been as warmly welcomed as the initial movement back in Spring.

Sandy Chapman, commenting on Lincolnshire Live's Facebook page, said: "No, I will not be doing this and I'm a key worker.
