The DVSA has updated its coronavirus guidelines regarding those learning to drive in the UK - and it affects learners in England, Scotland and Wales in different ways.
The national lockdown, which came into force last week, introduced a set of stricter travel rules including an instruction to stay within your "local area".
Essential journeys are still permitted but this had led to confusion over whether learner drivers would be allowed to drive under these rules to practise for their driving tests.
