Motorists were slapped with £200 fines for flouting coronavirus lockdown rules and gathering at a car meet in Nottinghamshire.
Police fined 15 people at a car park at Portland Park, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, shortly after 10pm on Sunday, January 11, where multiple vehicles had gathered.
After arriving officers found 10 cars and issued fixed penalty notices to 15 people who were present. They will each have to pay a fine of £200.
Warnings were given to a further six people.
Car meets are organised gatherings where enthusiasts get together with their modified or high-performance vehicles.
