A Leicestershire hospital temporarily closed last year could re-open as a coronavirus vaccination hub this month.
Feilding Palmer Hospital, in Lutterworth, was shutdown in May 2020, but now the cottage hospital could be re-opened to distribute vaccinations.
Alberto Costa, MP for South Leicestershire, has been rallying for the re-opening of the hospital as a hub since the vaccine rollout began.
Mr Costa says he has now 'secured a commitment from the local NHS organisations to look at reopening the hospital as a designated Covid vaccine hub'.
