A cyclist was taken to hospital after being injured in a ‘hit and run’ incident involving a van.
The man was hurt after he collided with a white van on Ashby Road in Loughborough at about 7.50am yesterday (January 11).
it is believed the man, who suffered a leg injury, was taken to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham by the East Midlands Ambulance Service.
Police have said the van did not stop at the scene.
Officers would like to talk to the van driver about the incident.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
