Police are appealing for information after the home of an elderly woman was burgled in Spondon.
The incident happened on December 28, in Hall Dyke, sometime between 5pm and 7pm when the owner was out.
A quantity of sentimental jewellery and a safe were stolen during the burglary, and it is understood that the burglar/s broke in by forcing open a rear window to the property.
Officers from Derbyshire Police have now launched an appeal concerning the incident.
