The centre offers those with and without symptoms to be tested, and they will receive a result within an hour.
The aim of the centre is to identify people who are unaware they are infected, who are then told to isolate.
This prevents them from unknowingly spreading it to others, therefore allowing the rate of infection to drop.
The facility is open to those with and without symptoms from 8am to 8pm until Monday January 25.
Following this, the centre will then move to St Swithin's community centre on Croft Street until Sunday February
