Derbyshire roads closed as heavy snow falls around the county

A number of roads in Derbyshire are closed today due to heavy snowfall in some parts of the county.

A yellow weather warning for snow and ice from the Met Office has been in place since 8am this morning, and will remain active until 9pm tonight.

A substantial amount of snow has already fallen in northern areas of the county, including Buxton, Bakewell and Chesterfield.

As a result of today's snowfall, several roads across the county have become impassable, with a number of road closures now in place.

Derbyshire County Council says the following roads have closed due to the snow, as of 1pm this afternoon:
