Derby and Burton hospital officials cannot disclose how many front-line health staff have been given the Covid-19 vaccine.
In a University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust board meeting yesterday (Jan 12), it was revealed that more than 7,500 people had now been given the jab at Royal Derby Hospital.
The hospital began administering the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccine on December 8, just over five weeks ago.
This includes patients aged 80 and over, front-line health and social care workers, care home staff and residents and the clinically extremely vulnerable.
However, the trust says it can only give out overall figures for the number of vaccines administered.
The trust itself has more than 13,000
