Leading developer Barratt Homes is offering Nottinghamshire homebuyers the chance to learn more about its top three moving schemes at a Big Barratt Move event (Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March).
Taking place at all of the homebuilder’s developments in Nottinghamshire across the weekend, prospective buyers will be able to receive one-to-one advice on making the most of Help to Buy, Movemaker and Part Exchange Xtra; three key schemes for property ladder progression.
With homes selling fast in a booming property market, Barratt Homes is encouraging house hunters to secure their appointment for the event weekend at one of the following developments: Romans’ Quarter in Bingham, Beeston Quarter in Beeston, Berry Hill in Mansfield, Gateford Park in Worksop and Fernwood Village, near Newark.
Jan Ruston, Sales Director at Barratt Homes North Midlands, said: “We are encouraging homebuyers in Nottinghamshire to consider securing a high-quality home at one of our developments by taking advantage of the one-to-one guidance with one of our Sales Advisers as part of our Big Barratt Move event.
“A move is well within reach for buyers looking for their first or next step on the property ladder and we’ll be welcoming prospective buyers on an appointment-only basis where they can learn which of our homes best suit their needs.”
Across its developments, Barratt Homes has a range of properties that will be ready for the summer, which is ideal for house hunters looking to make a move in the coming months but want a head start and advice from an industry professional beforehand.
For those keen on attending the event, they can learn more about the three following moving schemes:
Help to Buy
With Help to Buy, buyers are able to purchase a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is funded by an equity loan, interest-free for the first five years and repayable on the sale on the home.
The scheme is exclusive to first time buyers and available on properties up to the value of £261,900.
Barratt Homes’ bespoke Movemaker scheme is also available which, as a one-stop-shop, offers a complimentary estate agency service with a free no obligation valuation on the buyer’s existing home.
Once a selling price has been agreed by the customer, the developer will pay an estate agent to start selling their old home.
Part Exchange Xtra
For homebuyers with a property to sell, Part Exchange Xtra speeds up the process of moving. Barratt Homes will nominate an estate agent to instruct on the sale of the existing property, handling all viewings and enquiries, which is one less thing to worry about for the homebuyer.
If no satisfactory offer is made or accepted eight weeks before the new home is ready, the homebuilder could buy the existing home and take it as Part Exchange.
Anyone looking to learn more about the schemes available to buy a new home is encouraged to book an appointment at the Big Barratt Move event on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st March.
