It may sound a little bit strange for a business to tell customers to stop buying its products - but that's exactly what chocolate company Cadbury is doing.
After a very tough year for the high street, Cadbury has partnered with six independent chocolate shops across the UK, including Leicester's Cocoa Amore, and is calling for the nation to support its local chocolatiers rather than buying Cadbury chocolate.
Cadbury started out as a single shop on Birmingham’s Bull Street in 1824. So, when a chocolate shop in Birmingham just a stone’s throw away from the site of the original Cadbury store was forced to shut its premises after 18 years of trading, the team at Cadbury wanted to help out in some small way.
