Local construction consultancy, Edmund Shipway LLP, has taken an office at 1 Broadway, in the heart of Nottingham’s historic Lace Market.

The 2,000 sq ft suite, situated within this former lace mill, provides a space with period features such as fluted columns and large sash windows, all complemented by a modern fit out – including brand new lift access to all floors, LED lighting, air conditioning and exposed services throughout.

Lettings have been agreed for six of the seven suites in the building, with other occupiers including The Reformer Studio, Bradstock Bourne, Integrated Transport Planning, Churchsuite and Cronofy Ltd.

Thomas Szymkiw, of FHP’s Office Agency Department, said: “It is an absolute delight to secure Edmund Shipway LLP on long lease terms – another transaction demonstrating the growing confidence in the Nottingham City Centre office market.

“This is one of several office deals in the locality that I have been involved with recently, and with further deals agreed and in the pipeline it is great to see occupiers post-pandemic wanting to get back to the office – and to the City Centre as a whole.”
