Bygott Biggs, the legal recruitment specialists with an established presence across Nottingham, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester, is to leave its headquarters in Nottingham city centre.
The company, which is led by Jane Biggs, has been based in a Regency town house on Clarendon Street for 15 years.
However, with many law firms reassessing their working arrangements in the light of the pandemic, Bygott Biggs has made the decision to create a new chapter in their own history.
Jane Biggs explains: “Our recent ‘Workplace of the Future Survey’ of over 1,000 lawyers found that an element of remote/home working is now a critical option for employers to offer. Over 75% wanted at least a hybrid approach to working from home or the office and we have been assessing our own working practices alongside these findings.
“In a way, this feels a little like the end of an era but the time is absolutely right for us all to be seriously assessing how our time is best spent and for the team and I, that is not in the car commuting into the city centre office on a daily basis.
