Cummins opens new Daventry logistics centre

Cummins, an American multinational corporation which designs, manufactures, and distributes engines, has opened a new logistics centre in Daventry.

The 435,000 sq ft centre at Apex Park consolidates the storage capacity previously shared across both Cummins and third-party warehouses under one roof.

The site is in addition to Cummins' established production facility on Royal Oak Way, which employs more than 1,000 people. The factory makes high horsepower engines for the power generation, mining, and rail sectors, along with complete power generation sets.
