A Showcase cinema in Derby and its surrounding restaurant buildings could be demolished to make way for a new car dealership.

If given the go-ahead, the plans, at the Foresters Park Centre, will create 65 jobs at a new CarShop outlet.

The proposals include the demolition of the cinema and a Pizza Hut restaurant to build a new used car dealership and display forecourt.

CarShop is owned by the Sytner Group.
