Delivery service closes campaign after raising almost £600k

A hyperlocal delivery service has closed its crowdfunding campaign after raising almost £600,000.

Zoom 1hr has raised £595,084 from 332 investors on Seedrs, smashing its original £200,001 target.  

The Shrewsbury-based business delivers food, convenience and retail goods within one hour, currently operating in the West Midlands of England and in Wales.

Founded in 2017 by Kevin Williams and Dave Hamlet, the business has plans for a national rollout in 2021.

The funding will be used to expand its fleet, purchase extra equipment, increase its marketing budget and support the expansion of its team.
